Burness House Golf at St Andrews You can book golf on most of the courses in St Andrews through the Links Trust: 0044 (1334) 466666, http://www.standrews.org.uk . The Links Trust operate a ballot system for the Old Course, contact them with your, Names, Golf Clubs and Handicaps, the details must be submitted before 2 pm, the day before and the results are known 4pm, as there is no play on the Old Course on Sunday, Mondays ballot is drawn on the Saturday previous. Courses close to Burness House, St Andrews & recommended Winter Golf Packages What we do at Burness House is make a temporary reservation for your requested dates, minimum 3 nights at Burness House, when the Winter Package dates are released, at the beginning of August for the following Winter we apply immediately to the Links Trust on the your behalf with your credit card details, if the times requested are available we confirm them together with the reservation at Burness House. We cannot guarantee that all dates will be available due to restrictions such as course maintenance, or availability, if your requested dates are not available, we will cancel your temporary reservation, inform you by email, and no charge will be incurred.
